Sony warranty lamp replacement conditions

Where the product is within 12 months from the date of purchase, Sony will replace a faulty lamp free of charge within 500 hours of use. Where a claim is made between 501 and 1500hrs, Sony will charge 1/2 the retail price for a replacement lamp.


Data projectors
Where the product is within 24months from the date of purchase, Sony will replace a faulty lamp within 300 hours of use. Where a claim is made during the subsequent 1200 hours of operation, Sony will charge for a replacement lamp at a rate of ( No. of hours used - 300) / 1200. For example if a lamp failed after 800 hours of use, Sony would charge approximately 41% of the recommended selling price for a replacement lamp.
